DESCRIPTION
A long requested item is finally part of our catalogue. Made from a small oil barrel the stool comes with a fair trade cushion made from felt in the color for your choice. It fits perfectly next to your coffee table and works on its own just as well. No worries: the top is smooth without any of the usual barrel openings (like on our night stands) so you sit comfortably. Four small rubber stands on the bottom provide a secure stand and protect the stool as well as your flooring from scratches.

The rusty finish is handmade by us before we add a layer of transparent powder coating for protection. OIL BARRELS
Our very first oil barrel cabinet was made from a neighbor's oil drum about 16 years ago, now we use metal oil barrels from the harbor of Hamburg, a mix of overproduction, A- and B- stock. All barrels never had oil inside.

OUR STORY
What started off as a weird idea for a retail shop in 2004 turned into a business with world wide customers and a concept store in Hamburg's Karolinenviertel. About 80% of our product portfolio is made from recycled/reclaimed materials, we use green energy from Greenpeace and produce all products ourselves to make sure the way of work and the quality matches our standards.
