Colors and Scratches
More information can be found under the "Colors and Scratches" tab. Brief overview: The barrel factory color "White (painted)" is the cheapest option and always has scratches on the bottom rim, sometimes very small ones on the barrel itself. All other colors or custom colors are powder-coated and scratch-free. All barrels may have very, very small dents, which is part of the repurposing charm.
Delivery Time
We ship furniture every Thursday and will confirm shortly after your order that production has begun. As soon as we know exactly which Thursday we will ship, you will receive the DHL tracking number via email on the Tuesday or Wednesday before. If a particular Thursday suits you best, just let us know.
Special Requests
We are happy to accommodate! Many of our furniture variants have been created based on customer requests. Just send us an email. In addition to simpler requests like logo printing on the barrel, we have also completed very complex projects.

Hamburg Oil Barrels
It all started in 2004 with a metal drum brought to us by a neighbor, asking us to make something out of it. From this cabinet prototype, various furniture variants have emerged over time. We get our oil barrels from a barrel factory here in the Hamburg harbor, which otherwise manufactures barrels for oils and fats. Our barrels have never contained any liquid; they are a mix of overproduction, new or B-grade goods.
